Legacy Garden and Walkway

Our newly redesigned Legacy Garden was just selected for the January 2009 Beautification Award by the Englewood/Cape Haze Chamber of Commerce!

The entire garden has been carefully redesigned with help from the Boca Grande Garden Club adn the Lemon Bay Garden Club.  It is full of native Florida plants and trees.  Drop by today and take a stroll through the garden.  It's just the thing to relax your mind and lift your spirits.

Placing a remembrance brick in the Suncoast Humane Society Legacy Garden is the perfect way to memorialize or pay tribute to a special pet or family member.  It demonstrates your compassion and commitment for the future well being of animals.

The garden is a natural extension of the shelter, providing a lovely spot to sit quietly to remember friends, family or pets.  Imagine sitting among native plants in a butterfly garden.  The Gazebo offers a place to learn about animal welfare, and to spend quality time with four-legged friends.

Numerous individuals and companies donated materials and labor to help create the garden.

Won't you join us by creating a legacy for your beloved pet, your family or your friends in the garden pathway? 

 

 

The following are our Legacy Brick options:

  • $75.00 - your pets' or individuals' name engraved on a brick, with your choice of a heart or a paw print, and placed on our Legacy Pathway.
  • $50.00 - your pets' or individuals' name engraved on a brick and placed on our Legacy Pathway.

 

 

 

 

We will also send an acknowledgment to the person of your choice with either purchase.
